Our multidisciplinary team provides comprehensive Psychological Health, Physiotherapy, and Palliative Care. The patient is intensively monitored till the time he is stabilized, especially after major surgeries.
We offer Extracorporeal Life Support Program for children who need life-sustaining heart and lung support. We provide comprehensive care to Bone Marrow / Organ Transplant patients. The advanced treatment modalities available in the Unit include Extracorporeal Life Support (Neonatal, Pediatric, and Cardiac ECMO), high-frequency Ventilation, Nitric Oxide Therapy, Non-invasive Ventilation, and Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs), Plasmapheresis and CRRT modalities.
WHO NEEDS ICU?
Kids in the PICU might include those with severe breathing problems from asthma, serious infections, certain heart conditions, some complications of diabetes, or those involved in serious automobile accident.
Facilities available at pediatric ICU
Isolation Facility with negative and positive pressure for organ transplant/burns/ plastic surgery patients etc.
Pediatric ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) The Unit Provides ECMO life support for children whose heart and lungs aren't functioning normally.
Plasmapheresis To exchange blood plasma in cases of poisoning and certain immunological condition like autoimmune encephalitis, TTP etc.
Sedation for all procedures within and outside PICU
High Dependency Units (HDU), Central-oxygen, Compressed Air and Multipara Monitor
Invasive and Non-Invasive BP Monitoring, Central Venous Pressure (CVP) Monitoring
